Welcome to the Masamune Gunpla Studio mid-year Competition! We are so excited to showcase the 30MM/30MS/30MF line as our contest theme.

As always, to make our competition accessible to everyone, we made sure to include all 30 Minute Mission, 30 Minute Sisters, and 30 Minute Fantasy. The goal is simple: Build an entry that will wow the judges!! You can use any kit as the base as long as it’s from the 30MM/30MS/30MF line. Kitbashing, detailing, and modding are highly encouraged, but the quality and finish of the build is what will get you the win.

The competition starts May 1st and ends on August 31st. We will be revealing judging results on September 10th, 2025.

RULES

• Your base kits must be from 30 Minute Mission, 30 Minute Sisters, and/or 30 Minute Fantasy.
• Your entry must be at least 70% from the 30MM/30MS/30MF series.
• 3D printed parts ARE now admissible on your build.
• Detail parts such as photo-etch, thrusters, ect are more than welcomed.
• 1 entry per participant.
• The participant must have a Canadian address.
• Old builds are welcomed as long as it never placed in any other competition.
• Build total size must NOT exceed 30cm (H) x 30cm (W) x 30cm (D).

JUDGING

• Craftsmanship: The quality of design, work, and application of it.
• Paint: Focusing on the aesthetic qualities, like color choice, application, and intricacy.
• Idea: The creativity of the build and the scope of effort.

Point system: Will be evaluated on an X\10 value. 1 being bad, 10 being perfect.

• 1st: 30MM Eexm GIG-R01 Provedel (Type-REX 01) + $100 Masamune Gift Card
• 2nd: 30MM Eexm GIG-R01 Provedel (Type-REX 01) + $50 Masamune Gift Card
• 3rd: 30MM Eexm GIG-R01 Provedel (Type-REX 01) + $25 Masamune Gift Card

SUBMISSION

• All submissions for the competition will be made via email: info@msmnstudio.com with the Subject “30MM Competition 2024”
• Each competitor will have to include in their email:
  • Full Name
  • Email
  • City
  • Build Name
  • Base models
  • Description (Please provide a brief description [max 300 words] of your build, including any unique features, themes, parts used, or inspirations.)
• All submissions should be received by the final date of the competition. Late entries will not be accepted
• All submissions must be submitted with 6 pictures:
  • From the front.
  • From the back.
  • From the left side.
  • From the right side.
  • Two of the competitors’ choices that showcase the build.
• The pixel size of each image must be within 1000-4000 pixels on each side.
• Each picture MUST be less than 3MB for logistic reasons.

In the case of an issue with the pictures, Masamune Gunpla Studio will contact the competitor via email to give the chance to the competitor to resubmit pictures for fair judging.

Judges have the full rights to remove or disqualify a submission based on the aforementioned rules or anything they deem inappropriate.
By submitting your entry, you grant permission for any submitted photos to be used by the competition organizers for promotional purposes.
